She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Shelton and Prescillia Lou Weems; her sister Dana Rhea Shelton; her fiancé Jeff Valentine; and her grandparents, Hobert Shelton, Clomer and Ethel Weems.

She is survived by: her sister Dee Shores Starnes (Ronnie); her nieces and nephews, Josh Shores, Heath Starnes, Ashley Morgan (Josh) and Brandy Key (Brian); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nolan Shores, Karson Starnes, Kyndall Mathes Starnes, Isaiah Morgan, Asher Morgan, Bryleigh Key and Dustin Key; and her aunt Darnell Tolliver.
