He is survived by: his children, Calvin Beard (Reba), Margaret Beard (Tiny), Debra Hamilton, Lori Hamilton-Williams and Sharon Claridy (Bernard). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and 2 nephews and cousins.
