Roy Chapman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Chapman of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Francis Chapman; his children, Larry Chapman and Patricia Chapman; his grandson Jeff Chapman; and his siblings, Freida Woods, Louise Oliver, Willie Jo Montogomery, Shirley McCracken, Carolyn Sekeller, Jean Harr, Ronnie Chapman, Evie Chapman, Patsy Mink and Edna Krautsh.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Don McNeese; his grandchildren, Laura Wilcox McNeese, Mike and Clinton Wilcox; his children, Kayla, Luke, Lyla Wilcox and Angela Dickerson; his grandsons, Brandon Gregg, Josh Gregg and Matthew Dickerson; and his brothers, Mike Chapman and Bill Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Mr. Chapmans memory.
