He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dana Bailey and Allene White Bailey; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Bailey and Roy Lyle Bailey; and his niece Teresa McIntyre.

He is survived by: his sister Jane Bailey Maxson (William M. Maxson) of Zephyrhills, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Margaret Carter, Gina Jourden, Melissa Moon, Craig Bailey, Jimmy Bailey and Robert Maxson.
