Robert Bird Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Bird of Greeneville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Maupin Bird; his children, Dr. Martha Bird and Robert K Bird Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jared McKay, Maisie McKay, Marcus McKay and Eric Bird; his great grandchildren, Aria McKay-Mathews and Owen McKay; his brother James Bird; and his sister-in-law Lynda Maupin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral Home (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, or Shiloh Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
