It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rankin Long of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rankin Long to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his stepson Gary Ball; the mother of his children Marian Long DeKay; and his wife Virgina Ball Long. He is survived by: his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Adrienne Long of Greeneville; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Hobie Houpt; his grandchildren, Aaron, Christy Long, Lindsay, Harry Haun, Courtney, Mitchel Panter, Casey and Micah Murray; his great grandchildren, Blake Long, Brantley Long, Maggie Rose Haun, Austin Haun, Macey Haun, Hunter Haun and Elijah Murray; his stepchildren, Judy, Rod Mallery, Hope Ann Ball, Timothy and Debbie Ball; and his friend Shirley Hulse.
Due to COVID 19, the family will have a private graveside service in River Hill Cemetery.
