He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Fillers; his son Eddie; his parents, Hoxie Fillers and Golden Fillers; and his brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Fillers.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zachary Fillers (Chelsey Burbank) of Greeneville and Rhianna Fillers of Limestone; his daughter-in-law Martha Fillers of Limestone; his brother Carl; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Fillers, Cheryl Fillers, Charles Davis and Faye (Gary Arrington); and his close friends, Max and Beulah Sizemore.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the GreeneLawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
