She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph E. Shelton; her parents, Craty Sams and Mary Jane Kelley Sams; and her siblings, Chester, Doyle, Harold Sams, Anna Belle Sams, Lora Kiker, Betty Price and Ellen Wells.
She is survived by: her daughter Hope; her son-in-law Steve Reynolds; her stepgrandson John Reynolds; her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Sams, Janet Smith and Brenda Sharp; and her close friends, Louise Carter, Jim, Gayle Fields and Ella Mae Dishner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
