He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Clifford and Madeleine Liddell Higgins; and his siblings, Barbara Hassler and Richard Alan Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Anne Edgcomb Higgins of Greeneville; his daughter Allison B. Wildman (Gerd Franz) of Freiberg; and his grandchildren, Berit Franz of Germany, Lucy and Owen Higgins of Greeneville.
