She was predeceased by: her parents, Freedom Edwards and Geneva Edwards; and her brother Allen Edwards. She is survived by: her siblings, Vickie Edwards Rice (Jerry) of Canton, Teresa Edwards Bowers (Freddie) of Greenville, TN and Owen Jerald Edwards (Rhonda) of Mars Hill; her nieces, Samantha Rice (Chris Beck), Lucy Bishop (Jaime), Jessica Ricker (Trey) and Rebecca Edwards; her nephew Joshua Bowers (Jonda); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie, Jernie Bowers, JoLynn Bowers and Emma Beck; her uncle Doyle; her aunt Gail Lloyd; and her cousins, Rhonda Terry and Jenny Fox.
