She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frederick Gessner and Louise Anna Gessner; her grandson Grant Taylor Kennedy; her sister Mary Louise Neuman; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Kennedy and Joan Gessner.
She is survived by: her husband James Kennedy; her sons, James Richard Kennedy (Tigist) and Ronald Allen Kennedy (Michelle); her brother John F. Gessner Jr.; and her grandson Philip Andrew Kennedy.
