She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Whitson and Wilma Whitson; her husband Archie Adams; her daughter Brenda Friend; and her siblings, Floyd, Jack, Dudley Whitson, Billie Gilland and Frances Frye.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Whitson (Brenda), Bill Adams and Debbie Hayton (Wick); her grandchildren, Jason Campbell, Jeremy Campbell and Amy Ricker; her great grandchildren, Harper, Aven Campbell, Bryson, Addy Ricker and Ivana Stills; her nephew Dan Gwynne; and her caregivers, Adell Hensley, Mary Ricker, Susie Franklin, Chelsea Pate, Jeannie McGaha and Brittany McGaha. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the River Hill Cemetery (5685 Old Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
