She was predeceased by: her husband Guy O. Hawkins; her parents, George R. Roberson and Reba Manning Roberson; and her daughter Melody King Bettis. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Brown of Beaufort, SC and Tena Huckleby of Morristown, TN; and her siblings, Clyde Roberson of Washington and Opal Ross of Tarboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
