He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Wright Rogers; his sons, Marcellous Sylvester Rogers Jr. (Dawn) and Aaron Quincy Rogers (Julie); his grandchildren, Breon Kantrel Rogers, Aaron "Quincy" Rogers II and Duncan Thomas Rogers; his siblings, Anna Neil Maddox, Richard Ford (Thelma) and Mermon Manuel Rogers (Annie); and his close friend Van Scott.
