He is survived by: his wife Deloris Jeffries; his daughters, Brenda Godfrey (Travis) and Jessica Sheets (Aaron); his son-in-law Marvin Brobeck; his grandchildren, Matthew Brobeck (Joshua), Katheryn McGhee (Dustin), Kevin Godfrey (Destiny), Jared Sheets and Clint Brobeck; his great grandchildren, Coltyn, Bailey, Scarlett McGhee, Addilyn Godfrey, Kinsley Garcia, Hope Mae Godfrey and Daimen Brobeck; his sister-in-law Clara Bailey; his uncle Bennie Jeffries (Shirley Jeffers); his close friend Lyle Weems (David Lamons); his cousins, Tammy Bowman and Doug Carter; his uncle Arlee Gregg; and his close friend Mary Sheets.
A procession was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
