With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Greer Kelley-Lingerfelt of Greeneville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 77. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Howard Wayne Lingerfelt; her children, Richard Seth Kelley and Erika White (Jason); her grandchildren, Alexander Richard Kelley, Alaina White, MacKenzie White and Abigail White; her great grandchildren, Audrey Williams and Teagan Williams; her pet Bella; her parents, Richard Samuel and Goldean Greer; and her brother Gary Richard Greer.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

“Linda was a great neighbor. We would often text back & forth in the middle of the night if we heard a noise, got a weather alert, or were just checking on each other. I really missed her when she moved away, although we still kept in touch but not as often. It had been a couple of months since we talked so I was shocked to hear of her passing, not realizing she had been ill. Seth & Erika, she spoke of you & the children often, always smiling. I’m blessed to have been her friend.”
