He was predeceased by: his parents, Vallie Andrew and Jessie Pearl Stroud (Carolyn M. Stroud); his son Charles Andrew Stroud; and his siblings, Clyde, Herman, Davis Stroud, Frances Shelton and Mary Ruth Stroud.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane; his son-in-law Chuck Clark; his son Johnny H. Stroud; his grandchildren, Holley Craddock (Trey), Haylee Starnes, Brandon Clark (Tenicia) and Trey Clark (Kelsie); his great grandchildren, Ella, Chloe, Ava, Tobiah, Shelby, Ande, Asher, Adley and Bennett; his close friend Jean Henard; his grandchildren, Ella, Sophie, Tristan and Lila; and also Deborah MacFawn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
