He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Swift; his son Ricky Swift; his stepdaughter Lauren Bailey; his former wife Rena Schultz; his grandsons, Brandon Swift, Travis Swift, Damon Darnell and Levi Bailey; his great grandchildren, Oakley, Scarlett and Sutton Swift; his son-in-law Steven Darnell; his siblings, Richard Swift (Jackie), Roger Swift (Debbie) and Kimberly Johnson (Wendell); his cousin Lanny Carter (Wilma); his half-sister Barbara Norton (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Rosa Lee Hammitt, Charmie Rominger (Stuart) and Randal Gass (Kim); and also, Crystal Rigsby, Mark Barnette, Lexi Babb and Edgar "Buddy" Key. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 7:00 AM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
