He was predeceased by: his parents, Jule Hopson and Irene Mercer Hopson; his siblings, Carolyn Cassidy (Dickie Cassidy), June Perry and Bob Hopson; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Lena Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hopson; his son Bradley; his daughter-in-law Berta Hopson; his granddaughter Lindsay Shaw (Brandon Shaw); his great grandchildren, Ellie Shaw and Landon Shaw; his brother Guy; his sister-in-law Sandy Hopson; his sister Mary Lou; and his siblings-in-law, Owen Freeman and Linda Hopson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
