She was predeceased by: her husband Elmo Horton; her parents, Clyde Newberry and Mary Alice Newberry; and her siblings, Ruth McMillan and Clyde Newberry Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Robbie Horton (Summer) of Greeneville, Debbie Wilson (Kenny) of Greeneville and Tressa Clark of Hilton Head, SC; her grandchildren, Tylynn Horton, Whitney Carrier, Courtney Humphreys, Madelyn Broyles and Brooke Woods; and her great grandchildren, Demrie Horton, Delaney Horton, Miriam Humphreys, Nelya Broyles and David Oliver Atwood.
