He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Shipley; his son Mark Shipley; his parents, Roy E. "Tom" Shipley and Edith Warren Shipley; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Mildred Peters.
He is survived by: his daughter Bobbie Jo; his son-in-law Stacy Lee; his grandsons, Caleb Lee, Cody Shipley (Kacie) and Seth Lee; his great grandchildren, Huxlei Shipley, Ezra Lee and Adalynn Grace Lee; his brothers, Rex (Debbie Shipley) and Dicky (Kathy Shipley); his cousin Jane Jones; and his close friends, Bill, Debbie Shope, Deanie, Phyllis Lampkin, Gene, Flo Waddell, Jean Gibson, Don, Brenda Warren, Guy Dean and Vickie Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
