He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeman P. Coleman and Ireene Horne Coleman; and his brothers, Donald, Carl and Freddie (Anne Coleman).
He is survived by: his wife Janice C. "Janie" Coleman; his daughters, Annette Coleman and Lisa Kirk; his grandchildren, Justin, Natalie Kirk, Ashley Kirk and Anne Marie Coleman; his great grandchildren, Kylan, Silas, Elias Hazeltine and Hadlie Ruth Kirk; his sister Kathy; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Jones of Pennsylvania, Patsy Ruth Coleman, Nellie "Tootie" Coleman, K. T. Cain and Allen Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
