He is survived by: his wife Mildret Mas Godwin; his son Joseph Alexander Godwin; his siblings, Zack Godwin (Debbie), Chris Godwin (Sharon), Tommy Melton (Dorothy), Janie Barco (Jim), Barbara Adams (Peter), Susan Moulding and Kathy Harmon; his mother-in-law Angela Maria Mas; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Mas Michaels (Chris), Juan Miguel Mas and Luis Ricardo Mas.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2211 E Lakeview Dr, Johnson City, TN 37601).
