He was predeceased by: his wife Earnestine Ricker Parton; his parents, Earnest Junior Parton and Cora Miller Parton; and his cousin Wayne Parton. He is survived by: his son Jimmy D. Parton Jr. (Megan); his grandchildren, Ethan, Becca Parton, Tyler, Maddie Parton and Marshall Sturdivant; his great grandchildren, Tanner and Weston Parton; his cousin Tony; his mother-in-law Barbara Ricker; his brothers-in-law, Lester and Roy Ricker; his aunt Linda Lane; his siblings, Carson Parton and Ruby Johnson; and his niece Pammy Lane.
