She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Horne; her parents, James Marvin and Mable Dowdy; and her siblings, Beatrice "Aunt Beatie" Sessions, Delia Henderson, Dorothy "Dot" Galbreath, Sue Dowdy, Ray Dowdy, Mac Dowdy and Craig Dowdy.
She is survived by: her children, Glynn Horne, Martha Wilson (Ronald), Dinah Horne (Michael) and Rebecca Poskey (Charles); her sister Patricia Hahn; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Wilson, Timothy Wilson (Nathan), Candace Lovin, Mark Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, Carl Whitaker II, Crystal Marie Brown, Brian Palmer, Angie Snow, Rachael Aho, Julie Horne, Monica Spence, Joseph Aaron Spence and Elizabeth West.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (154 Griffin Ave, Reidsville, GA 30453).
