He was predeceased by: his wife Polly Lacy Calhoun; his parents, Elmer Calhoun and Nell Mae Calhoun; his sister Louise; and his brother-in-law James King.

He is survived by: his daughter Becky; his son-in-law Alan Edwards of Johnson City; his granddaughter Lacey (Randy Constancio) of Prattville, AL; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Joan Calhoun of Bristol, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
