She is survived by: her children, George Bernard Shirley, III, John C. Shirley (Melissa), Daniel Shirley (Katrina), Raymond Shirley (Nancy) and Belinda Walker; her grandchildren, Jeanette Stephens (Robert), Lisa Sine, Earl Sine, Kaylee Shirley, Andrew Shirley, John Shirley, Jr., Heather Dean (Jamie), Cheyanne Shirley, Christopher Shirley, Alana Shirley, Tyler Shirley, Tristan Shirley, Raymond Shirley, Jr. and Bradley Shirley (Kayla); and her siblings, Patricia, Vera, Belinda, Dorothy, Charles, David and Mike. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
