He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Rankin and Helen Rankin; his brother Marc Rankin; and his son-in-law Doug Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Janice E. Rankin; his children, Pam Wagner of Mosheim, TN, Stacy Rankin of Chicago, IL, Jennifer and Daniel Hoag of St. Clair, TN.; his grandchildren, Ethan, Heather Wagner, Summer, Tommy Payne, Noah Wagner, Sophia Rankin, Danica, Ron Haverkamp, Jonathan and Tareva Lister; his great grandchildren, Halee Wagner, Caleb Wagner, Keoni Payne, Kai Payne, Kekoa Payne and Hayes Grace Wagner; his sisters, Peggy York and Martha Kasler; and his sister-in-law Jeanie Clouse.
