He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Britton and Kate Britton; his brothers, Johnny Bill Britton and George Britton; and his sister-in-law Rose Mary Britton.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Britton; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Leasia Britton of Greeneville; his granddaughters, Amanda Smith (Austin) and Samantha Britton (Lynn Wilmoth); his great grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Chapman, Brenda Carter and Diane Britton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
