He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Silcox and Nell Silcox. He is survived by: his daughters, Rosalie McVicar and Amy Silcox; his son-in-law Michael McVicar; his stepson Jonathan Joseph James Shutko; and his grandsons, Zachary and Christopher McVicar.
