We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2021, at the age of 81, Howard Edmund Slagle of Greeneville, Tennessee, born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Guthro Slagle and Hadley Slagle of Chuckey, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Slagle of Greeneville; his brother Bill Slagle (Lynne) of Auburndale, FL; his daughters, LuAnne Slagle Spurrell (Jim) of Bethesda, MD, Suzanne Slagle Richey of Greeneville and Laura Slagle Cain (Jeff) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Evan Spurrell, Megan Spurrell (Lt), Lane, Emily Richey, Madeline and Jake Cain; his great grandchildren, Cali, Noah and Liam; his sons-in-law, Jim Spurrell and Jeff Cain; his grandsons-in-law, Lt. Robert Winning, Ron Metcalfe, Eddie Humphreys, Robert Venerable, Pat Shea and Santo Cicirello; and also Zack Dunbar.
