He is survived by: his son Billy Joe; his daughter-in-law Carita Brown; his daughter Tonya; his son-in-law Mike Ashby; his grandchildren, Alec Brown, Paige Brown, Sadie Brown and Amanda Ashby; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Ella; his sister Azalee; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Grindstaff and Bill Johnson; and his close friends, Bean Harrison, Teddy Price, Matt Thompson, Bobby Jones and Dwayne Stanton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
