She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Collins and Anna Lee Collins; her husband Billy Ray Carter; her sister Charlotte Gay Falkner; and her sons, Louis Rex Jones, Jr. and Ricky Ray Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Hobbs (Steve Hobbs); her son-in-law Steve Hobbs; her sons, Terry C. Carter (Rebecca) and Bill Carter (Maxine); and her brother Bobby C. Collins.
Donations can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers in her name.
