Ball of Washington; his niece Mitzie Caroline Ward of Greeneville; and his close friend Fred Franklin of Greeneville.
He is survived by: his wife Ola Mae Ayers Metcalf; his brother-in-law Bobby J. Ayers; his sons, Ricky A. Metcalf, Russell L. Metcalf and Derek P. Metcalf; his granddaughter Erma Katherine Metcalf; his nieces and nephews, James Benny Metcalf, Daniel C. Ricker, Sharon Snow of Greeneville, Star Ottinger of Greeneville, Lattie E. Metcalf, Myron L. Metcalf, Keith L. Metcalf, Darrel P. Metcalf of Ohio and Pamela R. Baer of Florida; and his close friends, Harold L. Maples of Powell, TN, Pete Luttrell of Greeneville and Charlie Jordan of Greeneville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon Bible Program or the WOM (Women on Mission) of Tusculum Baptist Church.
