She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Bobby Franklin, Glenda Franklin and Sandra Marrisett; her sister Sandra Crittenden; her grandchildren, Cody Harvey (Veronica), Selena Franklin, Samatha Marrisett, Alexis Caroline and Zachary Necessary; her parents, Mae Blazer and Lloyd J. Blazer; her husband Clifford Joe Burkey; and her brother-in-law Paul Crittenden. She was also cherished by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home. A reception was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the GreeneLawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
