He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Gail Rader (Metcalf); his parents, Paul Rader and Lorraine Rader; his brother Johnny Rader; and his niece Natisha Goins.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Aundrea Rader; his grandchildren, Sydne "Rader" Belt and Griffin Rader; his siblings, Nancy Goins (Romie) and Keith Rader (Diane); his sister-in-law June Cogburn; and his close friends, Michael Morelock, Bobby Dean, John and Caroline Morehead.
