We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2023, at the age of 83, Fay Byrd of Greeneville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorthea Vienna and Fred McKinley Byrd; his sister Betty Ann Byrd; his sister-in-law Anne Reed Waddell; and his grandparents, Fannie Byrd, Mary and Tom Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia R. "Pinky" Byrd; his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Dr. Suzanne Byrd; his brother Larry; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Byrd and Herbert (Patsy Waddell); his nieces and nephews, Bertta, Bradley Hopson, Kim, Jeff Mysinger, Andy Byrd, Michelle Thompson, Myron Waddell and Lindsay; his great-niece Ellie Anne; and his nephew Landon Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the Shriners Hospitals.
