She was predeceased by: her father Dillard Lee Shelton. She is survived by: her mother Alice Faye Shelton; her daughter Beverly; her son-in-law John Laster; her fiancé Phillip Shipley; her stepson Cody Shipley; her mother-in-law Pat Kelton; her grandchildren, Fredrick "Jaxson" and Layuna Laster; her siblings, Joyce Shelton, Brandie Franklin (Anthony) and Allen Shelton (Kathy); and her close friends, Stephanie Mitchell and Debbie Taylor. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 7:00 AM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
