She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Derey and Myrtle Derey; her husband James Wofford Boles; her children, Lynn Boles, James "Sonny" Boles and Marilyn Monk; her grandsons, Eric Boles and Timmy Monk; and her siblings, Helen Ellenburg and Marion Derey.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Alice Dobbs; her son-in-law Ronnie Monk; and her great grandchildren, Jimmy Boles, Eddie Farnsworth, Ricky Carter, Evan Monk, Gabriel Graybill and Jacob Farnsworth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
