He is survived by: his children, Marianna Hopson and Marty; his daughters-in-law, Amelia Hopson and Julia Hopson; his grandsons, Dillon Hopson, Jesse Hopson and Luke Hopson; his great grandchild Joscelyn Hopson; and his siblings, Bernice Waites and Gene Hopson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
