Dorothy Douthat Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Douthat (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Buckner and Robena Gosnell Buckner; her former husband Thomas H. Douthat; her son Archie; and her siblings, Bill Dockery of Marshall and Minnie Jean Ross of Powell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Ann Douthat of Greeneville and LuAnne Fantasia of Huntsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Steve, Tony, Anna, Carla and Leslie; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Trey, Jaxson, Riley, Avigail, Brady and Azalea Joy; her sisters, Betty Quillin of Lakeland and Grace Jones of Knoxville; and her close friends, Jane, Brandie, Susan and Karen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws.

Memorial contributions may be made to the students' Field Day Fund at Doak Elementary School.
