He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Katherine Inscore (Hale); his parents, Virgil Inscore and Grace Inscore (Sauceman); his brother JC; his sister-in-law Pauline Inscore; his sister Betty Joe Inscore; his siblings-in-law, JD, Pauline Hale, Loyse, Polly Hale, Hal and Norma Jean Ealey; his great grandchild Caleb Higginbotham; and his fiancé Nelle Jaynes.
He is survived by: his children, Phil, Jennifer Inscore, Sherree and Winfred Taylor; his grandchildren, Chris, Jessica Johnson of Greenville, SC, Andrea, Brent Gray, Ashley, Chad Higginbotham, Phylicia Inscore and Zach Gunter of Johnson City; and his great grandchildren, Trey Johnson, Chloe Ferrell of Greenville, SC, Barrett Gray and Chloe Higginbotham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
