With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Shipley of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Shipley and Ora Shipley (Myrtle Shipley); his sons, Charles Malone and David Vandiver; his grandson Sean Malone; his siblings, Perry, Cecil, Bobby, Kenneth, Teddy, Eddie Shipley, Bea Ricker and Lois Harrison; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Ricker, Donnie Ricker, Jane Shipley, Francis Shipley and Ann Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Jean" Shipley; his son Terry D. Malone (Deborah); his daughter-in-law Dee Dee Malone; his sons, Rickey, Tony and Tommy Shipley; his grandchildren, David Malone (Shelby), Keihanna Dennis (Jesse), Sarah Johnson (Russell) and Jeremiah Malone; his siblings, Frank Shipley, Harlan Shipley and Gladys Ricker; and his sisters-in-law, Romayne Gilland and Joann Shipley. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
