It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hammons (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Hammons and Cora Hammons of Memphis. He is survived by: the mother of his children Gylith Hammons; his children, Wreatha Atkins and David Hammons (Mary Jane) of Greeneville; his grandchildren, Bruce Lamons, Kiale Swecker of Greeneville, Lindsay, Scot Rose of Clarksville, TN, K. C. of Greeneville, Jamie Devera of Greeneville, Davey Hammons of Greeneville and Shelby Smalling of Greeneville; and his great grandchildren, Isobelle Rose of Clarksville, Kaden Bly, Memphis Smalling, Jamie Junior Devera, Mazzie Wright, Alison Coyler and Carsten Hammons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
