She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wayland Justis and Dorothy McMahan Justis of Greeneville, Tennessee.; and her sister Dorothy Charlyne Easterly of Morristown, Tennessee.. She is survived by: her husband William H. "Bill" Reed; her sister Vicki Luhowiak of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her children, Darby Chardel Reed Ehrhardt (Jonathan) and Charles K. "Chuck" Reed (Katie); and her grandchildren, Reed Ehrhardt (Kinsey), Caroline Reed Horton (Jack), Kylie Reed and Kirk Ehrhardt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
