It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Garland of Greeneville, Tennessee, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Warren Garland and Martha Potter Garland; his wife Beatrice Gentry Garland; his son Jack Gentry Garland; and his siblings, Richard Wade Garland and Jane Elizabeth Garland Richardson.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Lee Garland (Dianne); his brother Thomas Jack Garland (Pat); and his grandchild Allison Catherine Garland Sams. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
