He is survived by: his wife Dema Cox; his children, Angela Darnell (Pete) of Florida and Scott Cox (Stephanie) of Greeneville; his grandchildren, Landon Darnell (Jackie), Trevor Darnell (Lindsey), Kristen Darnell, Megan Cox, Madison Cox, Mark Lee Winningham and Mary Beth Winningham; his great grandchildren, Brennan Darnell and Addison Norton; his siblings, Nellie Bowers, Berneice Cox (Gary Yordon), John (Delores Cox), Bill (Donna Cox) and Paul Cox; and his sister-in-law Mildred Neal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
