He is survived by: his sons, Mike Southerland, Stan (Tammy Southerland) and Lyndell (Tami); his grandchildren, Kerry, Kenny McFarland, Allie, Chris Long, Austin Southerland, Dustin, Mandi Belt and Cal Southerland; his great grandchildren, Jillian, Ryan McFarland, Amelia and Lindy Long; his son-in-law David Mathes; and his brother Donald Southerland.
