We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2021, at the age of 93, Charles Robert Poe (Greeneville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Alta Hogan Poe; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Charles Carpenter of Franklin; his son Charles J.; his daughter-in-law Thelma Poe of Greeneville; his grandchildren, Lori (Jake Bird), Charles (Jeannie Carpenter), Jonathan (Katie Carpenter), Alexander (Celeste Carpenter) and Sarah (Stephen Catignani); his great grandchildren, A. J., Alexis, Madison, Bailey, Knox and Kelly Ann; his sister-in-law Nannie Kate Hope; his wife Dorothy Ricker Poe; his sisters, Velma Brooks, Josephine Ottinger and Virginia Love; and also, Phillip and Aaron Daniel of Cleveland.
