With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Newman Jr. of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathaleen Newman; his parents, Charles Newman, Sr. and Audra Clinton Newman; his son-in-law Dewey Banks; and his stepdaughter June Coffey.
He is survived by: his children, Fredia Repine (Todd), Debbie Banks, Pam Fleming (Randy), Cheryl Parrott (Mark) and Tina Layman (Chad); his siblings, George, James Newman, Roberta Dalton and Roweena Davis; and his stepchildren, Karen Miller (Mike), Linda McWilliams (Shaun), Lisa Sprouse (Tim), Betty Hensley (Brian), Mike Coffey (Clarissa) and David Coffey (Cynthia). He is also survived by several step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, everyone planning to attend services is urged to practice social distancing and wear face coverings.
